Mohammad Abdul Haque Anu, is a distinguished figure in the fields of ICT journalism, Internet governance, e-commerce, and ICT4D. With a career spanning over 30 years, he has established himself as a transformational leader, strategic visionary, and elite communicator, making significant contributions across multiple sectors, including private, public, and civil society.

Anu is the Executive Editor of Computer Jagat, Bangladesh’s first ICT magazine, where his expertise in ICT business analysis and country strategy has driven the magazine’s success. As a co-founder and President of the Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF), he was awarded the National ICT Journalist Award in 2016.

His leadership extends to his role as the founding Secretary General of the Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF), actively participating in both national and international policy discussions. Anu’s involvement in capacity building and outreach has seen him contribute to numerous UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF) meetings globally.

He is also the Founder and Chairman of Arpon Communication Limited, and a founding member of the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB), where he serves as the Policy Advisor. Anu’s commitment to the digital economy is further exemplified by his role as co-chairman of the Standing Committee on e-Commerce of the FBCCI and his participation in high-level consultations on digital economy and cybersecurity.

Anu holds a post-graduation degree in Sociology & Anthropology from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology and a Diploma in Human Rights and Legal Aid from Dhaka International University.
