Program Overview: On November 5, 2017, the “My Internet My Income” initiative was launched under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, with support from Comjagat Technologies. This initiative aimed to empower women by leveraging digital skills for income generation. Attendees of the launch included Honorable State Minister for Women and Children Affairs, Begum Meher Afroz Chumki MP, among other distinguished officials.
Two websites—aiaa.gov.bd and womenfreelancer.gov.bd—were developed for seamless learning and freelancing. These platforms offer comprehensive resources, including 154 video tutorials, interactive study materials, and exam modules to track progress.
The training, initially covering 8 districts, expanded nationwide, ultimately reaching 2,304 women across all 64 districts. Training included six months of blended learning, consisting of:
